Halloween Fun

Halloween was fun this year, although it got a little spoiled by the rain... Luckily though, our ward had a chili-cook-off & trunk-or-treat earlier that day (that ended up being held inside because of the weather!), so at least Skyler was able to get in some quick Halloween candy somewhere. When we left our church at 5:30 pm & it was pouring rain, we quickly changed our plans & decided to make it a year visiting grandparents instead of the traditional trick-or-treating. So off we went making the LONG trip to Provo to see Laron's mom, then back-tracked to Bountiful to visit my Grandpa Erickson (who we lived with last year), & then on to my parent's house (we arrived at about 9:00!). It was a long night, with more driving than excitement, but I think we made some grandmas & grandpas pretty happy... After all, what more could a grandparent want than to see their grandkids all dressed up on Halloween? I just wish that they all lived closer...

Skyler as a mouse...
(my family grew up using this costume, so I couldn't resist trying it out on Skyler!)
Look at his adorable little mouse-face!

Kimberly as a cat!

What a cute pair!
Even matching whiskers...what's left of them!

Our family after enjoying some yummy chili at the church...

Skyler sorting his candy that night...
(gummies, chocolate, miscellaneous, & suckers)
Quite the organized boy!

Skyler & Kimberly with their cousin Rachel Belle the next day!
Despite the rain, Halloween WAS pretty fun...
We'll just have to get in some better trick-or-treating NEXT year!

  1. Oh, their costumes are adorable. They both look so cute! Looks like they had a fun Halloween, even without the trick-or-treating.
